About
Pocket Offline started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept recommending each other games during long commutes. We were tired of installing something promising, only to hit a screen that said 'network required' before we could even move a character. So we began writing down what actually ran offline, and the notes turned into this site.,Everything here is played by a real person, usually for several evenings before we say anything. We finish tutorials, poke at settings, and check whether the game keeps working with airplane mode switched on. If a title needs the internet for basic play, it simply doesn't make our catalog.,We pick games across genres on purpose. A puzzle for a five-minute wait, a role-playing game for a long train ride, a simulator for a lazy Sunday. Variety matters more to us than chasing whatever is trending this week.,Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we don't run an app store. When we like something we say why; when a game annoys us, we say that too. The whole point is that you trust the recommendation before you spend the download.
