Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a moody adventure game about a lamplighter searching for a missing sister. You explore a foggy town, talk to strange residents, and solve environmental puzzles by combining items and paying attention to detail. The atmosphere does a lot of the heavy lifting, and it's excellent.

The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, which I appreciated. When I got stuck it was always because I'd missed something, not because the game was being unfair. Everything is stored on device, so you can wander the town on a flight without issue.

It's a shorter experience, maybe four or five hours, but it stays with you. Play it with headphones for the full effect.
